Carpooling in India · Mobile app only
Know more before you ride. Stay in control on the way.
Good carpooling starts with useful context and clear choices. CoMiles keeps important details visible before the ride and puts practical controls within reach during it.
Women-controlled ride preferences
Eligible women can choose supported women-only driver or passenger preferences. The server enforces the participant boundary; it is not merely a visual filter.
A verification is a signal, not a background check. CoMiles does not verify insurance cover for a shared journey and cannot guarantee anyone’s conduct.
Signals stay accurately labelled
- Provider sign-in is not a background check.
- Verified work email is separate from a typed employer.
- LinkedIn connection is optional and is not government identity verification.
- Vehicle self-attestation and provider verification are distinct states.
Privacy follows the ride stage
Discovery uses privacy-aware route context. Precise locations are restricted by the authorised relationship and stage. Shared-trip links are token-protected and time-limited. Blocking removes reciprocal discovery, context, and communication access.
Anyone holding a valid trip link can follow the trip until it expires or you revoke it — send it to people, not to groups.
Safety tools have limits
Trip sharing, calling, SOS, reports, and blocks support safer choices but cannot guarantee identity, conduct, vehicle condition, connectivity, or provider delivery. Contact local emergency services first in immediate danger.
Reliability is explained, not hidden in a score
The Reliability Centre shows which late cancellations are being reviewed, what passenger impact was recorded, whether recovery succeeded, and how to appeal. A reliability pause is scoped to new offers; it does not cancel confirmed rides or prevent passenger travel.
